On March 27, 2020, the National Broadcasting Commission of Nigeria (NBC) announced amendments to the the 6th edition of the Nigeria Broadcasting Code.
According to the Director General of the NBC, the amendments are to curb anticompetitive tendencies in the media and broadcasting industry in Nigeria.
