#NECLive9 Holds this Friday, Here's How to Watch

Final preparations are underway for the ninth edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference (NECLive), a long-awaited return to a hybrid event after COVID-19 pandemic halted the conference.

NECLive, West Africa’s biggest and longest running gathering of entertainment and creative industry professionals, will convene Africa’s entertainment and creative industry professionals in person and virtually, on Friday, April 29, 2022, at Landmark Event Centre in Lagos.

Here’s everything you need to know about #NECLive9, including where to watch the live show, and who’s expected to speak, and perform.

Since its first edition in 2013, NECLive has provided a platform where the much-needed and timely conversation about the business, technology, influence, and art of entertainment take place. The issues discussed by seasoned panellists and discussants over the years have spurred significant shifts in the industry and have exposed many Nigerians to previously unpopular aspects of the industry.

As the conference expands into a pan-African event this year with the theme ‘Sustaining The Africa Momentum’, it will delve into conversations about the role of creatives and the entertainment industry in nation-building. It will also lead conversations on how African creatives and entertainers can use digital media and technology tools to build sustainable economic power for themselves, the industry, and their nations.

Speakers from Rwanda, South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria who will be speaking at NECLive9 include Ayo Animashaun, 2Baba, Mr. Macaroni, Nancy Isime, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi, Dr. Busola Tejumola, Akin Oyebode, Osi Suave, Mozez Praiz, Anyiko Owoko, Tunde Onakoya, Aline Gahongayire, Sam Onyemelukwe, Darey Art-Alade, Iyabo Ojo, Mariam Timmer, Toyin Lawani, Oluwatobi Adeola, Sylvester Chauke, Tolulope Adeleru-Balogun, Tee-Y Mix, Jacob Akinyemi Johnson, Foza Fawehimi, Leo DaSilva and Ifeanyi Okonkwo.

The conference will be live on DStv channel 324 and GOtv channel 74. You can also stream the show live on NECLive from anywhere around the world.
