Tolulope Adeleru-Balogun, News Central TV’s Head of Programmes, Confirmed as NECLive9 Speaker

Tolulope Adeleru-Balogun, the Head of Programmes at News Central, a pan-African TV station broadcasting from Lagos, Nigeria, has been confirmed as a speaker at the ninth edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference (NECLive), that will hold on Friday, April 29, 2022, at the Landmark Event Centre, in Lagos.

Adeleru-Balogun, a multimedia journalist and CNN Journalism Fellow, was the host of the top-rated ‘Morning Crossfire’ on Nigeria Info.

In a media career spanning over a decade, she has interviewed several African creatives and consulted with non-governmental organisations to work on media campaigns to aid civic participation, government transparency, and accountability. She has further participated in panel sessions regarding African Innovation.

She joins other speakers like Akin Oyebode, Ekiti State Commissioner for Finance, Dr Busola Tejumola, the Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice, Anyiko Owoko from Kenya, actor and comedian Debo ‘Mr Macaroni’ Adebayo, Founder of ChessInSlums, Tunde Onakoya, Aline Gahongayire, Rwandan gospel music star, Broadcaster Osi Suave, Sam Onyemelukwe, media executive, among others.

NECLive is West Africa’s biggest and longest-running gathering of entertainment and creative industry professionals – and in 2022, the conference themed ‘Sustaining The Africa Momentum’, will bring together policymakers, entertainers, media and stakeholders in Africa’s creative and entertainment industry, as well as performers interacting with a live audience from around the world.

Organised by ID Africa in partnership with AV Edge, MTV Base, African Movie Channel, 7Even Interactive Limited, MultiChoice, Trace TV, X3M Ideas, Legit.ng, Mirus Events, Trace TVHuce Valeris, Hit FM Calabar, Beat FM, Classic FM, Naija FM, Top Radio, Mirus Events, The GreenRoom Nigeria, Landmark Centre, Plaqad and BlackHouse Media (BHM), the hybrid event will also simultaneously broadcast live on Hip TV (DStv and GOtv) and online platforms.
