Country manager ViacomCBS Network Africa, Bada Akintunde-Johnson, to speak at NECLive9

Media personality and Country Manager of ViacomCBS Network Africa, Bada Akintunde-Johnson, will participate in the ninth edition of Nigeria Entertainment Conference (NECLive) as a speaker.

Since its inception in 2013, NECLive has hosted over 100 creative and entertainment experts as speakers with over 14,000 physical attendees.

At ViacomCBS Network Africa, Bada Akintunde-Johnson oversees entertainment brands such as MTV Base, Nickelodeon, BET, and Comedy Central, where he uses his nearly two decades of experience in the media and entertainment industry to help African creatives tell better stories.

Themed ‘Sustaining the Africa Momentum,’ Bada Akintunde-Johnson will join the conversation as he and other speakers ponder on how African creatives and entertainers can leverage on the opportunities technological devices and tools offer to create wealth for themselves, drive their country’s economic growth, as well as sustain the visible growth of the African entertainment industry.

NECLive9 returns as a hybrid event on Friday, April 29, 2022, at Landmark Event Centre in Lagos and will be simultaneously broadcast live on Hip TV (DStv and GOtv) and online platforms.

Other confirmed speakers for the event include Anyiko Owoko from Kenya, actor and comedian, Mr Macaroni, founder of ChessInSlums, Tunde Onakoya, Aline Gahongayire, Rwandan gospel music star, Dr. Busola Tejumola, the Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice, TV host and filmmaker, Bolanle Olukanni, Sam Onyemelukwe, media executive, Broadcaster Mozez Praiz and more.

NECLive9 is organised by ID Africa in partnership with Big Cabal Media, Legit, MTV Base, Hip TV, Trace TV, 7even Interactive, Landmark Centre, AV Edge, Huce Valeris, BHM, Plaqad, GreenRoom, Mirus Events, African Movie Channel, X3m Ideas, Hit FM, Beat FM, Naija FM, Classic FM, Top Radio, Pinpoint Media, and News Central TV.
