ID Africa Announces Elizabeth Sobowale As NECLive Speaker

ID Africa has announced Elizabeth Sobowale as a speaker at the ninth edition of Nigeria’s leading entertainment conference, NECLive.

Elizabeth Sobowale is a creative strategist and talent manager with over seven years of experience in branding. The talent manager founded a talent agency, ‘Brand and Stitch’, developing African creatives within and outside the continent. Through this medium, she has managed artistes like DJ Cuppy.

In 2022, she was appointed as Program Director of the Music Business Academy for Africa, a platform dedicated to developing an informed and empowered workforce for the African Music and Entertainment Industry.

The creative strategist will join other seasoned speakers to discuss the conference’s theme: “Sustaining The Africa Momentum.” Speaking ahead of the event, she said, “Africa’s creative economy for over 20 years has consistently outpaced other industries in its growth. Creative outputs are being exported at an immense rate. To sustain this growth and ensure that the continent benefits, we must create local to global systems through creative education, investment, policy design and infrastructure development. NECLive is giving the industry a voice and a platform to table discussions that will help in sustaining the African momentum now and in the future.”

NECLive9 will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Landmark Event Centre and would be broadcast live simultaneously on Hip TV (DStv and GOtv) and online platforms.

Other confirmed speakers for NECLive9 include Anyiko Owoko from Kenya, actor and comedian, Mr Macaroni, founder of ChessInSlums, Tunde Onakoya, Dr Busola Tejumola, the Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice, TV host and filmmaker, Bolanle Olukanni, Broadcaster Osi Suave, Sam Onyemelukwe, media executive, Broadcaster Mozez Praiz and more.

NECLive9 is organised by ID Africa in partnership with Big Cabal Media, Legit, MTV Base, Hip TV, Trace TV, 7even Interactive, Landmark Centre, AV Edge, Huce Valeris, BHM, Plaqad, GreenRoom, Mirus Events, African Movie Channel, X3m Ideas, Hit FM, Beat FM, Naija FM, Classic FM, Top Radio, Pinpoint Media, and News Central TV.
