Hit FM Announced as NECLive9 Partner

As Africa’s entertainment and creative industry prepares for the ninth edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference (NECLive), the conference organizer, ID Africa, has announced a partnership with Hit FM, a radio station in Calabar, Cross River State.

Founded in 2016 by Ugbe Patrick, Hit FM is an award-winning radio station that focuses on quality lifestyle auditory entertainment that covers the key areas that people connect with.

With the return of NECLive as a hybrid event on Friday, April 29, 2022, leaders and key players in the entertainment and creative industry are set to share their experiences, ask thought-provoking questions, brainstorm and seek to circumvent the challenges plaguing the industry.

To build on the success the African entertainment and creative industry has established so far, NECLive9 is themed, Sustaining The Africa Momentum.

According to NECLive Convener, Ayeni Adekunle, “In the past two years, we’ve seen how powerful entertainment and pop culture can be in influencing social change and driving narratives. NECLive has been at the forefront of conversations around moving the entertainment industry forward and maximising its potential; and for the ninth instalment, we’re continuing with this mission by engaging relevant stakeholders in discussions that will set the tone for the future of not just the industry but our continent as a whole.”

With over 470 speakers and panellists, 70 exhibitions and brands, 14,000 physical attendees spread across the successful eight editions of NECLive, ID Africa is organising NECLive9 in partnership with prestigious companies, including Hip TV, MTV Base, African Movie Channel, Trace TV, AV Edge, Huce Valeris, The GreenRoom Nigeria, Landmark, MultiChoice, Legit.ng, Plaqad, BHM, Big Cabal Media, Mirus Events, and X3M Ideas.
