The 8th Wonda of The World: Everything You Need To Know About The Global Tribute For Sound Sultan

Family, friends and fans of Olanrewaju’ Sound Sultan’ Fasasi will gather globally on Saturday, July 24, 2021, to celebrate and honour the life and legacy of the King of Sound.

The tribute is to celebrate Sound Sultan’s unique lifestyle that has continued to receive commendations since his death and his contributions to the development of Africa’s creative industry.

Sound Sultan, 44, died of Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma (AITL) on Sunday, July 11, 2021, and was buried the same day in Brooklyn, New York.

Nigerian Entertainment Conference (NECLive) is working with The Fasasi family, friends and colleagues of Sound Sultan, and industry stakeholders to host an evening of music, poetry, comedy and talk in celebration of the departed artiste who was a pioneer NECLive facilitator and respected industry mentor.

Sound Sultan’s longtime friends, Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia, MI Abaga, Aramide, Timi Dakolo, Sage Hasson and Banky W and more artistes have been confirmed for the Lagos tribute event.
