Organisers have announced readiness for the second edition of Nigerian Entertainment Conference (NEC), which made debut last year, at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Stakeholders had hailed the initiative, which theydescribed as first-of-its-kind gathering of professionals and policy makers in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
Nollywood queen, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Nigerian famous musician, 2Face Idibia would be leading other speakers at the 2014 edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference, NEC.
The Nigeria’s entertainment industry summit which has entered year two has been scheduled to hold on Wednesday, April 23, 2014.
According to the Conference Chairman, Ayeni Adekunle, the event will once again take place in the Grand Ball Room of Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, Nigeria.

Apparently, organisers are fired by the prospect of the summit, that they have scheduled this year’s event for Wednesday, April 23, at the same venue.

Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and Pop icon, Tuface Idibia, have been announced as speakers at this year’s edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference holding Wednesday, 23 April 2014 at the Grand Ball Room of Eko Hotel, Lagos.
The theme for this year is “Creating Pathways to the Future”, with sessions on Nollywood, Social Responsibility, information technology, music, media and business.
Also speaking at the conference are: co-founder of Jobberman Ope Awoyemi; revered showbiz consultant, Edi Lawani, and founder/CEO of Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), Peace Anyam-Osigwe.
This year’s edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference (NEC), will hold on Wednesday, April 23.
The conference will take place at the Grand Ball Room of Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos.
In a statement made available to Klieg Light, the conference chairman, Ayeni Adekunle, said: “We are back at Eko Hotel & Suites for the whole day on Wednesday April 23, with even bigger speakers, remarkable panelists and participants from across the country.”
Confirmed speakers and panelists according to him include, actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, pop icon, 2Face Idibia, co-founder of Jobberman, Ope Awoyemi, revered showbiz consultant, Edi Lawani and Founder/CEO of Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), Peace Anyam-Osigwe.
